ahora siii este viernes 24 de abril...!! en el subterraneo de la marina plaza

Fundada en 1991 comenzó como una banda de Death Metal, período durante el cual graban el demo Progressive (1994). Posteriormente, Asis Nasseri, líder y compositor de la banda, además de guitarrista, vocalista y percusionista clásico, decide evolucionar, y siendo ya una agrupación de 16 músicos, lanzan el álbum And Thou Shalt Trust... The Seer, basado en la vida y obra de Michel de Nostredame, en los días de la peste negra.
En el año 2000, con 21 integrantes y un estilo claramente definido, es lanzado Awaking the Centuries, que conserva la temática del disco anterior, y cuya gira concluyó con la producción de Awaking The Gods, concierto grabado en México.
Para el año 2004 la banda saca a la venta el álbum Eppur Si Muove, inspirado en la vida de Galileo Galilei y su situación tras apoyar el modelo heliocéntrico.
Su más reciente disco, Tales of Ithiria, salió a la venta el 29 de agosto del 2008.

"GOTICO" fue una palabra usada para describir un estilo de arte y arqitectura, y originalmente lo usaron como un termino despectivo utilizada por la gente del renacimiento para indicar su decprecio por la "cruda" y "poco iluminada" cultura de los goticos en comparacion con la suya."DARK" es el termino con el qe denominaron a los goticos... en america... y parte de españa... por qe el significado de dark es oscuro... y tiene mas logica para ellos..(segun) de esho no sabian qe los "dark" eran goticos hasta los 50's o 60's fue cuando se enteraron qe el termino original para referirse a los dark era gotico... hay algunas personas qe no saben ni su identidad y andan tras la "moda" por ej. cuando se empezo a hablar de eMos... cuantos chavos y chavas empezaron con el fleqito y las heridas en las muñecas... cuando empezaron a hablar de raperos... cuantos no empezaron con sus cachuchas... y pantalones wangos claroo eso no significa qe lo sean peroo pues mucha gente solo critica por apariencia.. y a lo qe hiba es qe hay muchas personas qe qieren ser o se creen dark o gotico y sin embargo, nos dejan en muy mal aspecto por qe algunos creen qe un gotico siempre anda de malas o triste, qe es violento, qe es hevon y hasta ignorantes... jaja pero pues no somos asi. no somos tan lucidos como los qe qieren aparentar ser goth.. y a aqellos qe qieren aparentar son a los qe llaman "dark" por qe son los qe se la pasan blasfemando qe la iglesia es basura, qe adoran a satanas, y se la pasan pateando animales y diciendo tonteria y media para qe la gente no se les hacerqe y les tenga miedo. creo qe el termino de dark no lo van a entender muy bien.. mañana lo explico ampliamente.yo qeria hablarles de los goticos...!el gotico pues no tiene una definicion clara, no puedo sentarme y escribir : "esto es ser gotico por qe yo lo digo" jaja qedaria como uuna completa ignorante... en si nadie puede dar la definicion correcta de lo qe es por qe no la hay. y esto es una de las cosas qe hace tan especial a esta cultura...las formas de expresion varian de acuerdo a la persona y las creencias de esta: algunos ejemplos seria la musica, la pintura, la vestimenta, la literatura...(aqellos qe se avientan poemas o relatos bien padres)no todos los goticos tienen el mismo estilo. el ser gotico no es para asustar, no es algo de lo qe te puedas convertir de la noche a la mañana, no qiere decir qe siempre estes de negro(se considera parte importante.. ya qe es lo qe nos caracteriza,, pero no lo es todo) ser gotico no es simplemente apariencia.. no por qe te vistas de negro o te pintes la cara qiere decir qe seas gotico. no qiere decir qe andes por ahi creyendo qe eres muy sabio y lo sabes todo, tampoko qiere decir qe estes triste todo el tiempo(yo soy gotica y no por eso me paso nublandome el dia) es decir, si ves a alguien llorando,,, qiere decir qe es gotico?? ps noo. un goticoo resaltarea estoo UN GOTICO NO ANDA HACIENDO PREGUNTAS TONTAS: ¿TE PARECE QE SOY GOTICO? ¿QE NECESITO PARA SER GOTICO? ¿SOY LO SUFICIENTE GOTICO? ¡CUAL ES TU FILOSOFIA GOTICA? ESO.. PUES DA LASTIMA Y AMI ME DA MUCHO CORAJE. esa clase de preguntas demuestran qe no estan seguros de su identidad.. qe alomejor y ni tienen.

El gothic Metal (frecuentemente abreviado goth metal) es un subgénero del metal que toma elementos de la música gótica, el barroco y el romanticismo; caracterizada por el uso de voces femeninas agudas o de sopranos, violines, órganos y sintetizadores; cuyas principales temáticas son la tristeza, soledad, Dios, tragedia, oscuridad y pérdida, escritas como poemas. La temática de las letras trata sobre temas variados: la religión y Dios, el romance, el cielo y el infierno, el horror, la depresión, la pérdida, el duelo y la muerte, o también letras más introspectivas y que expresan sentimientos como la rabia y la desesperación.

es una mezcla de metal principalmente Doom Metal y música gótica. Se desarrolló principalmente a comienzos de los años 90 en Europa . El gothic metal, como el resto de los géneros y subgéneros que se fusionan con el metal, es difícil de categorizar.

Este estilo de metal no es precisamente una simple mezcla de Heavy Metal y Rock Gótico, si no que va más allá. Tiene notables influencias del Doom moderno (entiéndase Candlemass en adelante), del Doomdeath (Doom con la voz característica del Death Metal) y Rock Gótico, pero además, por lo general, tiene elementos del Romanticismo (en sus letras) y coros que dan una atmósfera oscura y aterradora, lo que lo hace un estilo fuerte y desgarrador en sus inicios, ligado al Doomdeath, y suave y melódico en la actualidad, más ligado a un metal alternativo caracterizado por voces femeninas o voces limpias.

La subcultura gótica comparte gustos estéticos, musicales y culturales en común. A pesar de que la música gótica abarca varios subgéneros y estilos, todos estos comparten una tendencia hacia una apariencia y un sonido “dark” u “oscuro”. Los estilos de vestimenta dentro de la subcultura toman influencias del death rock, el punk, el estilo andrógino, y hasta el estilo de vestimenta del Renacimiento; sin embargo, los góticos tienen una estética propia, que se centra en el color negro: trajes negros, maquillaje para resaltar palidez en el rostro, peinados que cubran la cara y hasta lápiz labial de color rojo aplicado atropelladamente en los labios. Es importante aclarar, sin embargo, que no todo aquel que se viste de acuerdo al estilo gótico es considerado gótico por los miembros de la subcultura. De la misma manera, no todos los góticos visten de negro ni siguen siempre el estilo.
